Magis Central Europe 2017 invites young people to be closely united with God
Young people from all over Europe and even from all over the world are invited to take part in Magis Central Europe 2017, an international meeting of young adults (aged 18-35) that will be held from 14 July to 23 July 2017.
The meeting consists of two parts: Ignatian experiments (14 to 20 July) and a final common meeting in Prague (20 to 23 July).
The Ignatian experiments are the heart of the Magis experience. Participants can choose from seventeen experiments divided into five categories: spirituality, pilgrimage, arts, service (social and environmental) and society and culture. The experiments will take place in different locations of seven countries: the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Kosovo, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. In each experiment there will a group of approximately fifteen participants of four or more nationalities.
The common wrap-up meeting will be hosted in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The program will be based on the theme of Magis Central Europe 2017 “Contemplative in Action” and its motto “Closely United with God”. Participants will attend lectures and workshops, they will share their cultural traditions and they will also have time to discover the city of Prague and its spiritual and cultural heritage.
Magis Central Europe 2017 is organized by the Czech Province of the Society of Jesus in collaboration with the Austrian, Hungarian, Polish, Slovak and Slovenian Jesuits.
